About me

I'm Teva — a technology leader based in Salt Lake City, Utah, with 18+ years of experience building secure, scalable, and resilient systems. I currently work at Pattern, where I lead engineering efforts at the intersection of AI, cloud, and platform reliability.

My career has spanned the full stack of infrastructure — from on-premise systems to cloud-native AWS architectures. Over the years I've accumulated four AWS certifications including Solutions Architect Professional and Security Specialty, which reflects how seriously I take the operational and security dimensions of what I build.

Lately I've been going deep on generative AI — multi-agent orchestration with LangGraph, RAG pipelines, and production deployment of LLM systems on AWS Bedrock. I'm currently pursuing the AWS Generative AI Developer Pro certification to formalize that direction.

Earlier in my career I contributed to peer-reviewed research — four publications between 2010 and 2015 covering cloud architecture, data transfer protocols, and geospatial analysis. That research background informs how I approach system design: rigorously, with an eye toward what actually generalizes.

I grew up speaking Tamil and think of that bilingual perspective as an asset — a reminder that there are always multiple valid framings of a problem. Outside of engineering, I read Stoic philosophy. Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus, Seneca. It keeps the work grounded.
